Tomorrow marks the start of a week and half of what is now a bifurcated practicum block.
Tomorrow I'll be teaching three 75-minute classes. I'm somewhat nervous, but mainly excited.
Prep for the week is more or less prepared - it's going to be one week of crazy grinding, followed by three days of wrap up, leading us into the glory that is winter break.
In a pre-strike world, Tuesday (the 14th) would've marked the final day of my third practicum block. Instead, it'll mark day two of what promises to be a simultaneously and sprint, and a marathon.
So, here's to hoping the kids behave, the lessons go smoothly, and that we all learn something. If I've learned anything over the last year and a half (give or take), it's that this job isn't easy, but has the potential to be fun.
Slides are ready. Notes are prepared. A plan is in place... wish me luck.
