This week marks the beginning of what will be a busy June and July.
Subbing 3 days this week, then convocation (made even more exciting by the fact that I won an award), followed by more subbing next week, followed by our grad dinner, followed by a conference in Boston, followed by starting my new job, followed by my summer French class, followed by a wedding.
June and July are shaping up to be both a sprint and a marathon, in the best possible way.
It's an exciting time in life, what with graduating, and kicking off my teaching career right away, along with grad school that's still on the docket.
At the start of my university career, I honestly had no idea that this is how life would turn out. But this is where I'm at, and all things considered, I'm happy. We're rolling. Life is good.
Even if it is busy.
But what's life without a little excitement?
