I don't know if we can necessarily saying anything with any certainty, but, the last couple of days have been, if nothing else, slightly warmer. My students are clearly getting antsy about the change and impending spring break, and if I'm honest, I totally get where they're coming from.
There's bits of exposed road, I'm noticing some melt on the driveway - the days seem longer, brighter...
Honestly, it's about time. Winter this year was brutal, and wholy anticlimactic. At least now, with the illusion of spring around the corner, there's things to look forward to: practicum around the corner, easter, nicer weather, travel, and welcoming the next phase of life in.
Who knows that it'll look like, but as long as it's not -35, I don't think I'll mind.
