It's official: my classes are done for the year.
Or at least, classes where I'm the student.
Yes, only 4 weeks, 3 practicum assessments, and 2 more papers separate me from summer break and all it's glory.
This year went by quick, and it's hard to believe there's only one more until I can get a job. Slightly scary thought, really.
Despite going by so quickly, it has been a good year. Though the last few weeks have felt overwhelming in terms of due dates, and prepping for practicum, it's been manageable. Assignments have been handed in, and I have the first couple of weeks planned out - that's the hard part about teaching, honestly - the lesson planning!
Am I excited for practicum? Yes. Somewhat nervous? Also yes. There's a certain nervous excitement that comes with the territory. With any luck, this practicum block will be as successful as last, and it'll be smooth sailing into summer.
I'm excited for sure... but also very glad I have next week off for spring break!
