Tomorrow kicks off the start of a supposed one week of remote learning here in Manitoba.
Combined with a new practicum schedule, that means I'll be remotely teaching 3 classes a day, everyday, for the duration of this week. I lucked out in comparison to my fellow Teacher Candidates, in that my school has given teachers the option to work for home.
So, it's off into the wild west I go. Lesson are ready, plans have been drafted. Marking is done, and Teams teaching has been piloted. I think I know enough to get me through, but I must admit, there's some residual nervousness bubbling below the surface.
Inevitably though, everything will get done, and it'll all be fine - but I'm sure it'll be an exhausting week! All that remains to be see is if Manitoba students will actually be back in class come January 17th, as is currently the plan - time will tell, I suppose.
Wish me luck!
