Recently, it was brought to my attention that there's ways to earn money while you shop.
I mean I've heard the ads, but never really considered it until I was ordering some stuff from H&M and was informed that Rakuten is a thing...
Formerly eBates, it's basically just a website that give you cash back on purchases at certain stores. So, referral email in hand, I made an account, bought a couple hundred dollars worth of clothes (for practicum... this counts as professional development, right?), and ta-da, I got a couple dollars back in my account (to be paid out quarterly, but still...)
Not a bad deal, and definitely worth checking out (throwing in a casual #notsponsored because this definitely isn't)- but I was just generally happy to not only have ordered clothes from a store I genuinely like, but also... money back.
