one last one

Tomorrow, Manitoba is going back to "normal".

Students will be back in class (in-person, bar one province-wide student walkout), and I'll be there for one last day of my third practicum block. Observations are done, reflections just need to be written, and tomorrow is dedicated to me tying up loose ends.

Tuesday, though - that's when I'm back in my own classes. Yet more courses, for one last semester. That's right, folks - this spring marks the end of my B.Ed. And boy, how the last two years flew by.

Never fear - I'm completely aware that there's still lots of work to be done between then and now. Classes to attend, assignments to complete, one final practicum block to get through. But the end is really and truly in sight. To highlight the importance of the next several months, there's a few PD sessions (that I scheduled) as part of council this week - one about resume writing, and another about obtaining a teaching certificate from the province. Inevitably, I'll be taking notes and timelines - there's work yet to be done.

So here's to the next few months. Here's to the unknown, and here's to hoping I land a full-time gig somewhere.

Really and truly, it's crazy how fast the last two years have gone.
