You know, after the summer we had last year, I didn't think I'd ever complain about the prospect of rain. After all, the world really felt like it was on fire last summer (or, at least, it seemed that way in Manitoba).
Yeah, I think it's safe to say I don't feel that way this year.
While I know we've had periods of sunshine lately, it really does seem like we've had overcast weather more often than not. Like seriously, have we gone more than 24 hours without rain yet? I'm struggling to recall a time...
Yes, I know this (probably) a good thing. Last year was too dry, and we needed to replenish the water systems that exist and provide some much-needed moisture in the ground. But between the never-ending torrential downpour and the mountainous piles of snow we had, we're out of room.The province is flooding.
Where's the sun? We need you!
