In some ways, it feels like my summer break just starting. May through July felt like a whirlwind, and last week was just completely exhausting being at camp.
Today marks the mid-week of the first week of my trio of weeks of summer vacation. Honestly, it doesn't feel like it'll be long enough, but it's hard to complain when most people aren't able to take three straight weeks off in the summer...
Thankfully, the prep is coming along nicely. Gym is planned out for the year, and I should have enough material together for English to get us through until winter break (or at minimum, pretty darn close). Numeracy is set, more or less - they use a preset program, so yay for that. And then it just leaves literacy up in the air. Slowly but surely chipping away at content for that... thankfully there's some diagnostic tests that need to be done to delay the start of that, anyways.
Still waiting on info about grad school, but with that one, I'm fairly confident that information will be coming soon.
The chips are falling into place. The material is coming together. I'm cautiously optimistically and excited about the prospect of September and where this year will take me.
But, in the meantime... it's time to settle down, relax, and enjoy the dog days of summer.
