Well, we're less than one month away now.
Less than one month to Christmas, less than one month until the break, and only a little over a month now until a WHOLE. NEW. YEAR.
And whoa, it's been crazy.
The last week in particular... well, it's just been one crazy thing after another, capped off with a bit of strep throat. But hey, if there's one thing to be thankful for with that, it's Canada's universal healthcare system!
But this week, weird as it's started, it closer to the end than it appears. Tomorrow is a normal day, Thursday is 12:30 dismissal for parent-teachers, and Friday is an admin day. And then, it's only 14 more school days until the end of my first term in the classroom.
And at that point, I'm sure, there will be reflections, and time to think about all that's transpired the past several months. But for right now, the exhaustion of the term is slowly carrying on, and I think it's safe to say we're all ready for a well-deserved break.
What can I say, the countdowns are well and truly on!
