With weather well into the mid-20 range today, it would appear the glorious months of summer are finally upon us.
Yes, after months of snow, we're moving into the next seasonal phase.
Exams are done; there's one day of practicum left. There's about a month and a half of school left for K-12, and then (relative) freedom is among us.
What this summer looks like is yet to be seen, obviously. With these new restrictions in place until at least May long weekend, it's hard to predict whether this summer will be more normal than last (the efficacy of this latest round of restrictions is a debate for another day).
The nice thing is that the vaccine roll out is ramping up. With any luck, we'll be approaching herd immunity sooner rather than later. I'm optimistic this will turn out to be a good summer.
