Well, Christmas has come and gone for another year - and like any other year, it was over in the blink of an eye.
There was lots to be thankful for this year, even if public health restrictions put in place the week before did alter the dynamic a bit. Gifts were abundant and thoughtful. Food was excellent and plentiful. And, despite having to divide into smaller groups, we were able to gather with (some) family and feel a certain semblance of normalcy, albeit masked.
It's hard to narrow down the best gift I received - they were all, quite frankly, wonderful surprises, and things I'm incredibly grateful for (and am excited to use).
One particular highlight though was a joint gift for my sister and I: a giant, almost 10,000 piece Lego Titanic - a project that will no doubt keep my sister and I busy over the remainder of the holiday season.
Originally seen by my sister on CNN, she essentially relentlessly hounded my parents until they got the thing. And, while it wasn't a surprise (they made sure to let us know when they got their hands on one), it was still incredible to see this giant box on full display (and rather shocking to see the organization of the project - 3 smaller boxes within one large box, each painstakingly divided into smaller sections that are built individually before connecting together).
So if there's any question about what I'll be doing until the new year, now you know. And if you're looking for more details, be sure to check back. In the meantime, check out the product listing on the Lego website here - I promise, you won't be disappointed.
