I've settled into a definite routine with Zoom university now, so between that, and working, the only times I really leave my house are when going to my car to actually get to work, and on the short daily walk my household has started going on.
And what hit me is just how fast the weather has been changing. While we've held onto the sun for the last little while, the weather today was exceptionally random. Throughout the day, there would be period of sun, followed by a random torrential downpour. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Until the late afternoon at which point it was actually sunny, so we ventured outside.
Of course, as we're walking, the wind picks up - in and of itself, no big deal. And then the clouds roll in. And then, by the time we're in the home stretch... it starts raining.
So yeah, wasn't exactly expecting that when I went outside today.
I guess I should treasure these days though, because if this year is anything like last year, there'll be a horrific snowstorm that cracks trees and knocks out power lines by the October long weekend.
(And yes, there's really nothing more exciting than the weather right now, ha!)
